PSV came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Shakhtar Donetsk in their Champions League opener at the Philips Stadion, with Sergiño Dest cancelling out Gleiker Mendoza's first-half goal early in the second period.
The point ended a poor run for the Dutch club in the first match of their Champions League campaigns: they had lost their opening fixtures in each of their last five appearances in the competition.
Shakhtar's goal came under a cloud, with PSV's players angry that it stood after Dest was left on the ground in the build-up.
