Crystal Palace have signed the Real Salt Lake wing-back Zavier Gozo on a five-year contract, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday.
The move is subject to international clearance. The fee is understood to be around $15m (£11.1m), with Real Salt Lake retaining a sell-on interest of 20 to 25 per cent in any future transfer.
"I'm really looking forward to playing in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. It's the dream of any footballer," Gozo said. "I'm excited by the people and the project they have going on here. I've seen a lot of it, and that's what excites me about this club as well: the success that they've had."
Palace's chairman, Steve Parish, said: "It is great to welcome such an exciting young talent to Crystal Palace Football Club. I am looking forward to seeing what Zavier can achieve with us during his time in South London."
