Crewe Alexandra delivered a ruthless first-half display to beat Barrow 3-1, with Tommi O'Reilly, Calum Agius and Josh March all on target before the break to spoil Paul Gallagher's first game in charge of the Cumbrians.
Isaac Fletcher pulled one back for Barrow in the 31st minute, but the visitors were left chasing the game after conceding twice inside four minutes. Defeat extends a difficult run for Barrow, who have now won just once in their last 12 fixtures.
Railwaymen Strike Early and Often
O'Reilly edged the Railwaymen ahead in the 13th minute, driving home a low volley off the near post. Agius doubled the lead almost immediately, firing into the bottom corner after being set up by March.
