Bristol Rovers were denied a first League Two win of the season by Oldham captain Tom Conlon as the sides played out a goalless stalemate at the Memorial Stadium.
In the end, the Gas had to be content with a first point of the campaign, but it could have been very different had Conlon not come to the rescue to clear Alfie Kilgour's header off the line on the hour mark.
Hosts Frustrated in Front of Goal
The West Country side struggled to create clear-cut chances, with Macauley Southam-Hales denied by Mathew Hudson in the first half before Isaac Hutchinson headed wide as the hosts turned up the pressure.
