Rotherham United earned their first League One away win since October with a clinical 4-0 success at in-form Exeter City. Goals from Jamal Baptiste, Joe Rafferty, Harry Gray and Shaun McWilliams helped the Millers end a run of four straight league defeats on the road.
The Grecians, who had won their previous five home games without conceding, started the brighter side but were ultimately picked apart by a ruthless second-half display, leaving a team with the second best defensive record in League One before the game completely shell-shocked.
Exeter Squander A Promising Start
Exeter began well, with Jake Doyle-Hayes firing straight at goalkeeper Cameron Dawson from an Ethan Brierley free-kick, while Jayden Wareham and Carlos Mendes Gomes were both off target with efforts of their own.
