Josh Coburn struck early in the second half to cancel out Jack Clarke's fine opener as Ipswich Town and Millwall shared a 1-1 draw in a Championship meeting with clear promotion significance at Portman Road. The draw left Ipswich in third and Millwall in fourth, both two points behind second-placed Middlesbrough after Boro's 0-0 draw at Blackburn, although Town still have a game in hand. Ipswich set a sharp early tempo
Ipswich were immediately assertive. In the third minute Clarke drove through the centre and slipped Ben Johnson away on the left, but Johnson's fierce cross flashed across the box without finding a home runner. Moments later Dan Neil, on loan from Sunderland, went close with a shot that skimmed past Anthony Patterson's goal.
