Chelsea throw away another lead as Hull's Belloumi strikes twice in six minutes

· Match Report

Chelsea drew 2-2 with newly promoted Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, losing control of a match they had started well. Morgan Rogers put the hosts ahead after six minutes, Mohamed Belloumi scored in the 27th and 33rd minutes to turn it around for Hull, and João Pedro levelled in the 65th.

The point keeps Hull unbeaten after four league games, with eight points from a draw with Chelsea, a goalless draw with Aston Villa and wins over Manchester United and Coventry City. Chelsea have now conceded two or more goals in each of their opening four league matches for the first time in 11 years, and they have not kept a clean sheet in 20 league games.

Xabi Alonso was blunt afterwards. "It was too soft to give them this hope because until then we were controlling, we were creating chances," the Chelsea manager said after the match.
