Chelsea booked a Carabao Cup quarter-final trip to League One Cardiff City after hanging on for a chaotic 4-3 victory at Wolves, in a night that swung from mutiny in the stands to a frantic late fightback from the Premier League's bottom club.
First-half goals from Andrey Santos, Tyrique George and Estevao Willian seemed to have settled the last-16 tie before the interval. But Tolu Arokodare and a double from David Moller Wolfe dragged Wolves back into the contest, with Jamie Gittens' superb volley ultimately proving decisive amid a red card for the returning Liam Delap.

Chelsea were two up inside 15 minutes. A loose 30-yard backpass from Arokodare let Gittens pounce, and after he squared the ball Santos drilled into the corner for his first Chelsea goal. The second was a sweeping team move finished by George at close range after another Gittens cross, this time skinning Matt Doherty.
