Ched Evans drilled in Fleetwood Town's winner as they beat struggling Crawley Town 1-0 in League Two, the striker finding the bottom corner from the edge of the box just before the hour mark.
The result stretched Crawley's winless run to 10 games and left them a point clear of the relegation zone, while Fleetwood took full reward for a performance that had threatened to bear fruit long before Evans intervened.
