Celtic kept their Europa League campaign alive with a deserved 4-2 win over winless Utrecht at Parkhead, booking a place in the knockout play-off round in February.
Goals from Benjamin Nygren and Arne Engels, either side of a Nick Viergever own goal, put Martin O'Neill's side 3-0 up inside 19 minutes before Dani de Wit and Adrian Blake hauled the visitors back to 3-2. Auston Trusty's header restored the two-goal cushion and settled any home nerves.
Flying out of the blocks
O'Neill had called for his players to go for it pre-match with qualification on the line and Celtic responded emphatically. Nygren tapped home Kieran Tierney's cross from close range after a well-worked short corner, the Swede's 14th goal of the campaign.
