Fabrizio Cavegn's goal in the 65th minute gave Bristol Rovers a 1-0 win over Exeter City at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday, a club-record 11th successive home league win.
It was a first victory in three league games for Rovers, who had lost at Grimsby and Gillingham, and it lifts them to third in League Two on 15 points. Exeter drop to 21st on six points after a sixth league match without a win.
Cavegn Finishes the Long Throw
Rovers had the better of the chances over the 90 minutes, finishing with 19 attempts to Exeter's eight and six shots on target to four. Shaq Forde came closest before the break, hitting a shot on the turn with his back to goal that flew just over the bar.
