Leo Castledine scored twice as Huddersfield kept the pressure on the League One top six and piled yet more misery on bottom side Port Vale with a comprehensive 5-0 victory at Accu Stadium.
It was one-way traffic from the outset, with the hosts racing into a three-goal lead before half-time and adding two more after the break to underline the gulf between the play-off chasers and the division's strugglers.
