League One leaders Cardiff City landed a significant blow in the promotion battle as they won 2-1 at Bradford City, extending the gap between themselves and the third-placed Bantams to nine points.
The Bluebirds built a commanding 2-0 first-half lead at Valley Parade, only to be made to work for the points after Jenson Metcalfe's second-half strike pulled Bradford back into contention.
A Commanding First-Half Lead
