Cambridge United beat Barnet 2-1 in round one of the English League Cup at the Cledara Abbey Stadium, before an attendance of 3,521.
The match was goalless at half-time. Barnet broke the deadlock through Kabongo Tshimanga in the 48th minute, but Cambridge United responded immediately: Ben Knight levelled in the 51st minute and Isaac Heath put the home side ahead in the 56th.
Cambridge United's Kelland Watts and Barnet's Idris Kanu were both booked for arguing in the 85th minute, and Barnet's Zac Williams followed them into the book two minutes later for dissent. No player was sent off.
Cambridge United used all four of their substitutes, including a double change in the 61st minute (Sullay Kaikai and Pelly Mpanzu on) and withdrawing second goalscorer Isaac Heath for Zak Bradshaw in the 91st minute. Barnet made three substitutions, including a double change in the 83rd minute (Kane Smith and Will Wright on).
