· Match Report

Leeds United put four past Newcastle United on Monday night, a 4-1 win that extended their unbeaten start to the Premier League season and handed Matthias Jaissle the first defeat of his time as Newcastle manager.

Three goals in 14 first-half minutes settled it. A deflected opener, recorded as a Lewis Miley own goal, arrived in the 31st minute, a second followed two minutes later and Dominic Calvert-Lewin added a third in first-half stoppage time. Noah Okafor made it four in the 58th minute, and Bazoumana Touré's 89th-minute strike was all the visitors had to show for the night.

Daniel Farke's side had 14 shots to Newcastle's seven, and they did it five days after a 6-3 League Cup defeat at Chelsea. Calvert-Lewin led the line throughout.
