Burton Albion beat AFC Wimbledon 4-1 at the Pirelli Stadium in League One matchday four, watched by a crowd of 2,733.
Jayden Stockley put Wimbledon ahead in the 17th minute. Burton were level by the 27th through George Evans, and went ahead in the 33rd when Alistair Smith turned into his own net. Charlie Webster made it 3-1 in the 45th minute, and Caylan Vickers completed the scoring in the 75th.
Andy Yiadom was booked for Wimbledon in the 71st minute and Jack Armer for Burton in the 82nd, both for fouls; no player was sent off. Burton made a double substitution in the 64th minute, withdrew scorer Vickers in the 80th and made two more changes in the 90th; Wimbledon made a triple substitution of their own in the 60th minute.
The win lifts Burton to fourth in League One on seven points from four matches, with two wins, a draw and a defeat. Wimbledon slip to 17th on four points, having won one, drawn one and lost two.
