Kyreece Lisbie hit a first-half equaliser for Colchester United as the points were shared in a 1-1 draw with Crawley Town at the Broadfield Stadium.
Reece Brown, with his first Crawley goal at home, gave the Red Devils the lead, and the hosts could have snatched victory late on when Ryan Loft spurned a great chance.
Brown Rewards a Bright Crawley Start
Crawley began on the front foot and midfielder Brown gave them a deserved lead by drilling a low shot under goalkeeper Matt Macey in the 13th minute.
