Bromley sign Wigan Athletic midfielder Tobias Brenan

· Transfer News

Bromley have signed the Wigan Athletic midfielder Tobias Brenan for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old joined Wigan in 2025 from Oxford United and made 12 appearances in total for the Latics, five of them in League One.

Brenan spent the second half of last season on loan at Harrogate Town in League Two, making 16 appearances, one of them in a goalless draw against Bromley.

He came on as a second-half substitute when Wigan went out of the Carabao Cup on penalties to Barnsley on 8 August, but was not involved when Wigan lost 3-2 at Cambridge United in their League One opener last weekend, a defeat that leaves them 18th in the table after one game. Bromley began life in the third tier with a 1-0 win in their own opener.

The move continues a busy summer at Bromley, who won the League Two title last season and have strengthened across the pitch since being promoted, including the triple signing of goalkeeper Shamal George and defenders Jacob Mendy and Chanse Headman.
