Bromley claimed their first-ever win over Salford as they recorded a 2-0 home victory, and with it moved into the League Two automatic promotion places.
Goals either side of the half-hour mark from Omar Sowunmi and Will Hondermarck settled a contest in which Salford spurned the better of the early openings before being made to pay.
A Lively, Open Start
A lively opening 15 minutes saw Kelly Nmai sting Grant Smith's palms with a fierce drive on the angle. At the other end, goalkeeper Matt Young was lucky to see his ricocheted clearance not deflect back into his own net.
