Bromley and Cambridge United shared the points at the Copperjax Community Stadium, drawing 1-1 on the second matchday of the League One season. Cambridge United's Ben Knight opened the scoring in the 66th minute; Bromley substitute Victor Adeboyejo, on for Corey Whitely nine minutes earlier, equalised in the 80th minute.
The draw leaves both sides unbeaten after two games with matching records: a win and a draw for four points and a goal difference of +1. Cambridge United sit fifth in the table, Bromley eighth.
Cambridge United's Dominic Ball was cautioned for a foul in the 60th minute, the game's only card before stoppage time. Two more yellows followed in the 93rd minute, both for arguing: Cambridge United's Shayne Lavery and Bromley's Chanse Headman.
Cambridge United made an early change when Shane McLoughlin went off injured for Sullay Kaikai in the 47th minute. Bromley made two substitutions at half-time, including Chanse Headman's introduction, then doubled up again in the 71st minute when Adeboyejo came on; Cambridge United responded with two changes of their own on 72 minutes, including Knight's withdrawal six minutes after his goal.
