Bromley 0-2 AFC Wimbledon: Stockley and Hippolyte hand Dons derby win

· Match Report

AFC Wimbledon won the London derby 2-0 at Bromley in League One, with Jayden Stockley scoring in the 7th minute and Myles Hippolyte adding a second in the 66th. The result was Bromley's third successive defeat under Andy Woodman.

Wimbledon took the lead with what was their first meaningful effort on goal, James Tilley's cross met by a powerful Stockley header. Hippolyte sealed the win midway through the second half, breaking away to finish low past Owen Mason.

Stockley Strikes Early, Bromley Never Recover

Bromley had little reply to the opener. Dan Sweeney came close to a second for Wimbledon before the interval, only for his shot to be blocked on the line, and Steven Sessegnon struck the ball into the side-netting in first-half added time. After the break Stockley found himself free for a header, but sent it straight at Mason.
