The Albania international met Marcus Edwards' teasing cross in the final minute of normal time to cancel out Antoine Semenyo's superb second-half strike at the Vitality Stadium.
Semenyo's curling finish after 67 minutes, his eighth league goal of an increasingly eye-catching season, had appeared to finally reward Bournemouth's dominance against Scott Parker's dogged but largely toothless Burnley side. Yet despite the Cherries racking up 16 attempts to Burnley's meagre threat, they failed to close the game out. Bournemouth remain 14th on 22 points with a smattering of boos greeting the final whistle, while Burnley stay 19th on 11 points, five from safety, but crucially avoid equalling the longest losing sequence in the club's league history.
