Bradford City returned to winning ways after consecutive defeats, beating Mansfield Town 1-0 at Valley Parade in League One thanks to an acrobatic finish from Antoni Sarcevic in the 17th minute.
Mansfield, who had shipped five goals at Reading in their previous outing, were denied a late equaliser when the referee ruled that Michael Smith had fouled the goalkeeper as he headed in from a free-kick.

Mansfield had the first opportunity, Smith's header well kept out by Jon McCracken, and they made a late goalkeeper change before kick-off, Harry Lewis taking over from Liam Roberts. Lewis, who used to play for Bradford, saved from Callum Connolly and Adam Phillips.
