FA Cup quarter-finalists Port Vale were brought back down to earth with a 2-0 home defeat to high-flying Bradford City at Vale Park.
Vale had beaten Sunderland on Sunday to reach the last eight for the first time since 1954, but they remain adrift at the bottom of League One after a one-sided game.
Visitors Threaten From the Start
Bradford threatened immediately, with Ben Waine, Vale's match-winner against Sunderland, clearing off the line from Matthew Pennington. Ethan Wheatley then burst clear but was denied in a one-on-one with home goalkeeper Joe Gauci.
