Mark Shelton's goal just before half-time proved to be a consolation for the visitors, with Liam Mandeville netting late on to secure three points for the Spireites.
Bonis Strikes Twice Before the Break
Chesterfield took an 11th-minute lead when Lewis Gordon's low cross found Bonis, who, at the second time of asking, managed to fire past Cieran Slicker.
