Blackpool kept up their unbeaten start to the League One season with a 4-0 win over Peterborough United at Bloomfield Road, Jordan Williams, Dion Charles, Karoy Anderson and substitute Jerry Yates all scoring.
It had already been a good week at the club. Yates had returned to the Fylde Coast on a season-long loan from Luton Town, alongside fellow new signing Josh Earl, and the striker needed only eight minutes after coming on to make his mark.
Peterborough created the first big chance, Harry Leonard's close-range header turned away by the quick reactions of Bailey Peacock-Farrell, but it was Blackpool who took control, scoring twice in two minutes.
