Blackpool and Wycombe Wanderers shared the points in a 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Road as League One's opening round of fixtures was played out. The result leaves Blackpool 14th with one point from their opening game (W0 D1 L0); Wycombe are 13th, also on one point (W0 D1 L0).

Fred Onyedinma put Wycombe ahead in the 6th minute, finishing off an assist from Aaron Morley, who was withdrawn injured in the 42nd minute. Blackpool levelled in the 76th minute through substitute Finley Munroe, on since the 72nd minute for Christopher Hamilton, converting an assist from Dion Charles, himself on since the 58th minute for Hayden Coulson.

Five cautions were shown in all: two for Blackpool (Hayden Coulson, Albie Morgan) and three for Wycombe (Ewan Henderson, Fred Onyedinma, Daniel Harvie), with no player sent off.
