Second-half goals from Harrison Bettoni and Dara Costelloe wrapped up a 2-0 win for Ryan Lowe's Wigan Athletic at Burton Albion, five years to the day since the Latics' last victory in East Staffordshire.
The result also ended Wigan's three-game winless run, with a frantic contest finally settled in the visitors' favour after the break.
A Frantic, Even First Half
Wigan looked to make a fast start and Brad Collins had to block from Costelloe early on. Bettoni did beat Collins but saw his angled shot clip a post.
