Barnet have signed AFC Wimbledon midfielder Jake Reeves on a season-long loan, adding experience to Dean Brennan's League Two squad for the 2026-27 season.
The 33-year-old has made more than 400 senior appearances in the EFL, with spells at Brentford, Swindon Town, Gillingham, Notts County and Stevenage before two spells at Wimbledon, the second beginning in 2023. He has made 249 appearances for the Dons, scoring 11 goals.
The move continues a busy summer at the Hive, where Brennan has brought in around ten new players after Barnet missed out on the League Two play-offs by two points last season, following the departures of midfielders Anthony Hartigan and Mark Shelton among others.
Brennan said Reeves would give Barnet "vast experience that we lack within the squad", adding: "We've been looking to replace that quarterback and Reeves ticks all the boxes. We've been after him for a long time, we know he's a big character and a leader in the changing room and will give us something extra that we haven't got, he's a great addition to the midfield and a strong addition to the group."
