Bradford City won 1-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on Thursday night, Aden Baldwin's volley just after the restart keeping their season unbeaten and leaving Hillsborough with nothing to show for a bright opening.
It was a third win from three starts for Bradford, who had been the poorer side before the break. Wednesday had more of the ball and more shots across the night, but the visitors were sharper when it mattered.
Wednesday Waste Their Early Pressure
The hosts began with real purpose. Barry Bannan shot wide, then tested Jon McCracken with a shot the Bradford goalkeeper beat away. Louie Barry looked a threat too, only for Matthew Pennington to nick the ball off him inside the area, and Barry later curled an effort just off target.
