Captain Owen Bailey struck his 16th goal of the season to help Doncaster Rovers take a massive step towards League One safety with a 1-0 win over Reading.
The midfielder bundled in from close range in the second half to decide a tight game and dent Reading's play-off ambitions, leaving the Royals five points off the top six.
A Cagey, Chance-Shy Opening
Chances were hard to come by in the opening 45 minutes. Royals skipper Lewis Wing struck a volley narrowly wide from the edge of the box, while Charlie Savage was denied with a block from the chest of Bailey.
