Grimsby Town's winless league run ended at nine games as they beat Shrewsbury Town 1-0 at Blundell Park, Justin Amaluzor's 83rd-minute finish settling a tight contest.
After an uneventful first half, both sides found late openings, with Tom Sang firing over from just inside the box for the visitors before Jamie Walker poked wide at the other end moments later.

The opening period offered little, but the closing stages of the half brought chances at each end. Sang's effort from just inside the box flew over for Shrewsbury, before Walker's reply at the other end drifted just wide.
