Paris Saint-Germain have signed France winger Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco on a five-year deal. The Champions League holders did not disclose financial details in confirming the move on Thursday, but the fee is understood to be around €50m ($58m).
Akliouche was one of Ligue 1's outstanding performers last season and repeatedly troubled PSG in their Champions League play-off, scoring in the second leg to level the tie at 3-3 on aggregate before PSG eventually progressed 5-4.
The left-footed 24-year-old is particularly dangerous breaking forward from deep down either flank, and he underlined his form this summer with a substitute appearance for France against Iraq at the World Cup.
"Signing for Paris Saint-Germain is an immense source of pride," Akliouche said. "Having grown up in the Paris region, joining such a prestigious club means so much to me and my family."
