Swindon Town beat Port Vale 3-1 at The Nigel Eady County Ground. Oliver Lynch put Port Vale ahead inside the first minute, but Aaron Drinan levelled for Swindon in the 12th. Ben Middlemas, on as a substitute for the injured Ryan Tafazolli in the 55th minute, put the hosts in front in the 70th, and second-half substitute Louis Millard added a third in stoppage time, the 93rd.
Port Vale made a triple change at half-time, sending on Tyreece Simpson, Lewis Montsma and Ben Garrity for Ben Waine, Onel Hernández and Matthew Craig. Cameron Humphreys was booked for Port Vale in the 57th minute and Jack Thomson for Swindon in the 86th; no player was sent off.
The result lifts Swindon Town to ninth in the League Two table with seven points from four matches, two wins, a draw and a defeat. Port Vale remain 24th on two points, with two draws and two defeats from their four games.
